CDC altered its own thimerosal data

Dear Drs. Boscamp and Geschwind,

Recent news columns by Lidia Wasowicz (UPI; 1-2) offer statements (A, B) by
doctors Boscamp and Geschwind that are inaccurate and misleading.

CDC documents obtained by FOIA show that in a 1999 study, the CDC found
associations between thimerosal injections and a range of
neurodevelopmental problems including but not limited to ADHD, tics, sleep
disorders, language disorders, and autism.  Additional CDC documents
obtained by FOIA show that the CDC hired the IOM to conduct a sham hearing
about thimerosal (2004) and predetermined that hearing's conclusions.

Perhaps Jeff Boscamp, MD, is sufficiently honest so as to peruse the
thimerosal evidence obtained by FOIA.

Perhaps Daniel Geschwind is sufficiently honest so as to peruse the
evidence obtained by FOIA and, in that context, to peruse the many findings
regarding thimerosal's adverse effects (eg, 4-5). The findings the CDC and
IOM have decreed need be hidden from view remain important and merit
ongoing research by honest researchers not tainted by the CDC and IOM.

Charles Prober's statement "The process of vaccine development, testing,
licensure and follow-up is an extremely complicated process that has
probably more checks and balances than the government." is invalidated by
the CDC's deliberate diluting of its own thimerosal findings (1999), for
which FOIA documents provide evidence.

As Dr. Prober fondly admonishes, vaccine development may have "checks and
balances", but when the process is corrupted by CDC malfeasance, then the
statements of Julie Gerberding, Daniel Geschwind, and Jeff Boscamp must be
evaluated with high suspicion.

A. And nothing astonishes him more than allegations of massive cover-ups by
government, drug companies and physicians of vaccines' perceived risks, he
added. (1)
