Thermonuclear Tsunami on Christmas Day

Here is a virtually unthinkable theory, based on the powerful, but strangely
coincidental, symbolism represented by the recent, Christmas Day, Pagan
Tsunami.

Note, that this is merely a theoretical exercise in political thinking.  It
takes into account the well-known habits of governmental and industrial
bodies.

Didn't the Tsunami occur 12/25/04, Christmas Day, measuring date-time at the
disaster site?  That's the way I read the timeline.

The "thermonuclear pulse" is an interesting basis re a theory for
surreptitious causation.  A horizontal, underwater power pulse, not a
surface wave, would manifest itself as a crashing wave when it hit a shore.

Like the physics of the game "marbles", where hitting one marble causes a
marble on the end of a string of marbles to pop off, with no loss of energy
within the string of adjacent marbles -- the shore opposite the "quake"
would be the marble on the end.  Sri Lanka.

Thus, if the causative nuclear bomb was set off near a selected, properly
shaped land mass (near Indonesia), that land mass would act as a reflector,
sending a focused pulse towards Sri Lanka, India and Africa. Compared to a
surface wave, relatively little energy would be lost by a pulse through the
water, until the pulse hit those opposite shores.  A flat, vertical,
underwater cliff formation would probably be the best formation for such a
reflector.  The next item of study would be to find the geology of the
Indonesian quake site, where the "earthquake" that lead to the Tsunami,
began.

Note the various contradictions to what we are being told in the news, with
the material enclosed, below.  Summarized:

1) Seismic measurements are radically different between various governments.
2) Tsnunami warning system has been in place for decades.  Approximately 20
Tsunami warnings have been issued previously.
3) A Tsunami is actually not a crashing wave form, but a very slow "tidal
wave", a raising of water level.  Most people can outrun a Tsunami.
4) Could the Indonesian damage be interpreted as the result of an underwater
bomb?  Is the damage from only the influx of water, or water moving inland
with great force?
5) "...nuclear explosions, and even the impacts of meteorites, asteroids,
and comets can generate a tsunami." US Embassy:
www.usembassy-china.org.cn/shanghai/pas/hyper/2004/dec/28/epf205.htm
6) Why the governmental silence after the "earthquake"?  Two hours were
available to warn Sri Lanka, India and other coastline areas.  Tsunami
danger is a long-recognized threat, as indicated by the Tsunami warning
systems already in place.

There is a Pacific Tsunami warning system, as mentioned above, but here is a
Russian system, near Japan, www.science.sakhalin.ru/Tsunami  Sakhalin is, I
believe, the island near where Flight 007 was downed, decades ago.  Sakhalin
Tsunami Warning Center.

This site mentions, unauthoritatively, that during WWI, a Tsunami was
generated by an explosion: www.higherpraise.com/tsunami.htm

Parallel:  Fortune magazine, a few months ago featured a story that
described how, currently, as apparently standard procedure, revolutionary
wars are allowed (or encouraged?) by major industries (mining/petrochemical)
in countries within Africa, Latin America, and Asia (as examples). Then, the
incumbent governments are offered a deal by these industries in exchange for
monopoly market control within the country.  The deal is that industry will
hire a modern private army to remove the revolutionaries.  The revolutions
are quashed very quickly, once the deal is made.

Replace "war" with "natural disaster" and we have an explanation for Bush's
slow response to the disaster.

Like I say, these are merely Machiavellian theoretics, which take into
account the possible capabilities of modern government/industry.  The
conversations about this, below, held in 1999, are at an amateur level.

The cat is out of the bag.  I might as well stop being cautious.  Here is an
article on the subject, 12/31/04,
http://www.mggpillai.com/sections.php3?op=viewarticle&artid=8982  "Could an
underwater nuclear test have caused this tsunami?"

"Q: Have tidal waves figured in weapons research?  Yes... wartime
experiments were conducted off the New Zealand coast to create a bomb that
would trigger tidal waves, according to government files declassified in
Auckland."

---------TIMELINE----------

The first reports concerning the strength of the earthquake are
contradictory. While the Indonesian authorities report an earthquake with a
strength of 6.6 on the Richter scale, United States geologists say the quake
reached 8.1 on the Richter scale.

What is the Tsunami Warning System?

The lack of a warning during the 1946 tsunami that devastated many coastal
areas in Hawaii, led scientists and governmental agencies to establish the
Pacific Tsunami Warning System (PTWS), for the Hawaiian Islands and United
States territories in the Pacific by 1948.  The main objectives of this
system are: To detect and locate the existence all possible tsunami causing
earthquakes by the use of properly monitored seismographs; to ensure that a
tsunami actually exists by measuring water level changes at tide-gauging
stations located throughout the Pacific; and finally, to determine the time
of arrival of the tsunami and to provide an adequate warning for evacuation
procedures.

What is the difference between a Tsunami Watch and a Tsunami Warning?

A Tsunami Watch is automatically declared by the warning center for any
earthquake having a magnitude of 7.5 or larger on the Richter scale (7.0 or
larger in the Aleutian Islands) and located in an area where a tsunami can
be generated. Notification of and Civil Defense agencies begins, followed by
limited public announcements by the local media. Data from tidal gauge
stations is awaited for confirmation of the actual existence of a tsunami.

Reports on wave activity from the tide-gauging stations nearest to the
earthquake epicenter is requested by the warning center. If the stations
report that there is no observed tsunami activity, the Tsunami Watch is
canceled.  If these stations report that a tsunami has been generated, a
Tsunami Warning is issued for areas which may be impacted in the next hour.
At this time the public is informed of the ensuing danger by the emergency
broadcast system.  Evacuation procedures are implemented, and sea going
vessels are advised to head out to sea, where in deep waters they will not
be affected by the tsunami.

'Bent Udder writes "According to todays' Independent, the US, Britain and
New Zealand worked on plans for a bomb that could cause tsunamis during the
latter part of the Second World War. The war ended before the device be put
to use, but an Australian professor tested several small versions of the
bombs in New Zealand in 1944."'

I read that book. If the physics depicted in the book are accurate, this is
some serious shit. Basically, a renegade faction of a government used, I
think, 8 nukes to create the soliton wave. Six to separate the Ross Ice
Shelf from Antartica proper, one airburst above the shelf to "shove" the
shelf causing the soliton wave and another higher airburst to knock out
(EMP) anyone capable of reporting the wave, which was traveling (I think) at
around 200 miles/hour. From the devestation described in the book, it would
only be used by freaky insane people. Who live on high ground. Really high
ground. The book explained (if I recall correctly) that the difference
between a soliton wave and a normal tidal wave is that the energy of a tidal
wave is carried by the movement of water across the surface of the ocean and
thus dissapates, whereas the energy in the soliton is a pulse traveling
through the water and loses energy much more slowly than a tidal wave. I
don't know how accurate the science in the book is, but it was a good read.
