[2011 Dec] The Vitamin C Treatment of Whooping Cough by Suzanne Humphries, MD This is important. If you think that a vaccinated person cannot get whooping cough, in the most severe manner, think again. Most babies over the age of 6 months who get whooping cough are fully and “appropriately” vaccinated. Pertussis is admittedly, even by the vaccine enthusiasts, primarily spread by vaccinated children, adolescents and adults, who have inadequate immunity. Regardless, they will still say the problem is not with the vaccine, but rather with too few doses of vaccine. However, conventional medicine’s own scientific studies demonstrate that bacterial clearance and immune response is not as efficient in the vaccinated, in particular with the acellular pertussis vaccine. When pertussis is left to take its normal course in the community, the supposedly vulnerable infants that the vaccinationists scream and yell about, are protected by maternal antibodies and mother’s milk until they are old enough to process the disease on their own. After vaccines were introduced, this protection was vastly reduced, because the mothers were only having vaccine antibodies to pass along to their infants, and that defense is neither effective nor long-lasting. A recent study confirms that natural immunity to whooping cough lasts at least 30 years, whereas the immunity from a vaccine lasts 3 years, and after adult boosters, all antibodies have disappeared within a year. The risk of vaccination with unpredictable waning “immunity,” and vaccine failure, is not as reliable as what nature has set forth, and it never will be.
[2010 Sept] Pertussis epidemic? Or Media induced malady? by
Hilary Butler Being an information junkie, I have a huge
collection of newspaper articles about kids with pertussis dating from the late
70's, and... most of them are vaccinated children. One more recent prominent
one was a 10 month, fully vaccinated daughter of a doctor at Middlemore
hospital. Which reminds me of this
medical article in which in 1979, while defending his article the author
replied with a situation which exactly mimics THIS country:
I did discover that the only seriously ill infants were too young to
have been vaccinated in any case; and that these
children were threatened by an outbreak of which the onset and initial spread
were entirely among immunised
children.
Nothing has changed in the world of expedient misinformation. Whooping cough is
primarily spread by vaccinated children with undiagnosed infections, to their
unvaccinated siblings, or other children in daycare or school.
The brown coloured paragraph
(By 1976, the number of cases nationwide had dropped to 1,010 a
year, because of what experts say was the widespread use of the vaccine. But the
numbers have increased tenfold since. In California alone, there have been more
than 4,000 cases reported this year, including nine infants who’ve died – most
of them after being misdiagnosed initially)
is typical misinformation, when the truth is, that because of "observer bias"
and the assumption that all vaccinated children can never get pertussis,
pertussis was constantly diagnosed as something else, until the truth gradually
dawned on everyone, and that TRUTH then permeated the medical literature.
Ironically, the guru of pertussis, Dr James Cherry, was the first to twig that
the problem was blinkered doctors, not absence of pertussis!
Why did that truth gradually permeate the medical
literature? The whole truth and nothing but, is never told in the medical
literature about anything......In order to convince the public that pertussis
boosters from cradle to grave is a good idea, you have to have time to concoct
some plausible sounding excuses. As well as allow enough time to pass, to get
away with absolute porkies.
But the mainstream media will never wake up to the fact that
media induced maladies exist, because they ASSUME that doctors tell the truth,
and they can't be bothered studying the medical literature (or wimp out by
saying they don't have the time).
Even if they did all the above, I wonder who would in
mainstream media would have the balls to challenge people like Dr Alison
Roberts, and demand truth and accountability?
On past experience, the answer would be "none".
We are perhaps fortunate in this country, that records on hospital admissions
for pertussis were never stopped after the vaccine was introduced, as was done
elsewhere in the world. Had we been so “stupid” as to do what all other
countries did, and stop all pertussis notification, period… we might not be in
the position today where the data from the Health Department (and the ESR for
that matter), conclusively proves that the pertussis vaccine in this country has
done nothing.
......What “gains” has Australia made which they
didn’t have before, through having a 95% whooping cough vaccination rate, when
they had an 80% vaccination rate? Their whooping cough vaccination rates have
increased 20% in 9 years; their number of vaccines has radically increased, yet
their whooping cough rates have increase 1200% in that time.

There are more cases now than there were in 1945, before we had the vaccine. Dr. Henry Shinefield, vaccine researcher (ABC News)

In this small series of twenty-six cases of whooping cough, cevitamic acid [ascorbic acid] seemed to be strikingly effective in relieving and
checking the symptoms in all but two of the cases .... It is our opinion that it should be
given further trial in all cases of whooping cough regardless of the age of the patient,
or the length of time already elapsed since the original symptoms. http://www.seanet.com/~alexs/ascorbate/
"It is very likely, that the obvious improvements of her child's health was achieved by him finally developing whooping cough in its acute form. --any parents report either a marked improvement or disappearance of 'asthma' after their vaccinated children developed acute whooping cough. Medical research demonstrated that having whooping cough prevents asthma. One must wonder how much of that 'asthma' is just a chronic whooping cough as a result of the vaccinated child's immune system being deranged by vaccination and not being able to mount a proper, acute, immune response."---Viera Scheibner
"Vaccination stops children having their childhood diseases at the beneficial age (3-4yrs). Children are now susceptible to Rubella and Mumps at just the age when girls can conceive and boys can be made sterile. Antibodies from vaccination do not cross the placenta to make very young babies immune with the result that children of less than one year old are more likely to get them. In the case of Whooping cough this is just the time that the disease is likely to cause neurological damage."---Dr Jayne Donegan
"After contracting measles and other childhood illnesses (e.g.. chickenpox, scarlet fever, whooping cough, rubella, mumps and may be others), it has been widely accepted by many health practitioners, including experienced orthodox paediatricians that this is often beneficial for the general health of many children. Specifically it has been shown that children contracting measles naturally were less likely to suffer from allergic conditions such as asthma, eczema and hayfever, (Lancer June 29 1996)."---Trevor Gunn BSc
For example whooping cough gets called “croup” when it occurs in vaccinated
children, and diphtheria gets called such names as “epiglotitis”, or, as in this
case, described in “Raising a Vaccine Free Child”, by Wendy Lydall (2005, pg
68),
‘Her aunt had nursed diphtheria
cases in Britain in the 1950s, and she said that her niece had the typical
symptoms of diphtheria. The girl was flown by helicopter to a bigger hospital in
Auckland, where they took a swab from her throat and confirmed diphtheria. When
they learned that the girl was fully immunised, one of the doctors said to the
mother, "Then it can’t be diphtheria." They changed the diagnosis to bacterial
tracheitis.’ ----[Letter
BMJ May 2005 Mumps]
"When in Germany, vaccinations against whooping cough were suspended between 1975 and 1991, the declining trend in the number of deaths from the disease continued as before."--Dr Buchwald (The Decline of Tuberculosis despite "Protective" Vaccination by Dr. Gerhard Buchwald M.D. p135)
The incidence of whooping cough has been decreasing for more than a hundred
years, which means that very few children get it nowadays. Your child might be
the one who gets it, so you need to know what to do to keep a child with
whooping cough comfortable and safe.
The first two weeks of whooping
cough seem like a bad cold with mild fever and occasional fits of coughing.
Suddenly the cough becomes more intense, and the child starts waking at night
with spasms of coughing. When you hear that first "whoop" you know that whooping
cough has arrived and it cannot be ignored. It is time to batten down the
hatches and get ready for broken nights and long days.
Two things make whooping cough more
bearable; a firm resolve and a plastic bowl. The first few whoops are alarming
to observe, but you soon get used to them. If you panic you make the child
tighten up and gasp all the more. Whooping cough is far worse for the parents
than for the child. The sooner you settle into a happy routine of throwing up
and cleaning up, the easier it will be for the family. (The child does the
throwing up, you do the cleaning up.)
The coughing spasms are not
glamorous affairs. The eyes bulge and the breath is pulled in through a
constricted throat, causing that awful whoop sound. At the end of each spasm the
child vomits up thick mucous, and sometimes food. Between spasms he or she
sleeps soundly, or is cheerful and chirpy. Whooping cough does not cause the
grumpiness that measles and mumps cause.
