Rosemary Kessick (Allergy Induced Autism/AiA)
[Rosemary Kessick is the CEO of AiA, Allergy Induced Autism, a U.K. based charity dedicated to identifying the underlying causes and
biochemical effects of autistic spectrum disorders.
AiA was born fourteen years ago out of one Great Ormond St. doctor's
observations. He had a growing group of patients whose parents had identified
common foodstuffs and everyday chemicals as seriously exacerbating their
condition. Since gaining UK charitable status in 1997, AiA has gone from
strength to strength with an explosion in membership. International seminars,
presentations and conferences have served to heighten awareness of the
condition, providing a platform for medical research and a focal point for
