Nothing new - done for years

Vaccine makers paying folks for promoting vaccinations has been done for a long time. I recall Senior Centers, where 'agents' came to speak to the old folks gathering for social meetings before free lunch. A 'guest speaker' would come and tell the seniors how wonderful a flu shot will be, making them immune to the flu or what ever. A week later, like sheep, the seniors came and all took their shots. I bet you the 'guest speaker' was paid for it.
