Staff Sgt. Jonathan Hobbs uses a Z backscatter van to scan a suspect vehicle
during a training exercise April 23 at Moody Air Force Base, Ga. The 820th
Security Forces Group owns two of the $1.2 million vehicles, which interpret
reflected X-rays to create highly detailed images of low-density materials such
as explosives or drugs. Sergeant Hobbs is an 820th SFG sensor technician. (U.S.
