NB. Mercury extraction should follow the correct protocol, rubber dams etc. Dentists who still place mercury amalgam are unlikely to realise the dangers of not following the guidelines. Root canal extraction also has a protocol. It is DANGEROUS to extract mercury fillings without the set protocol.
