Zithromax causes Guillain-Barre Syndrome

In 1995 I went to Alaska to run a logging machine. When I decided to come home to Montana and work I had a chest congestion and with a job pending, thought I needed to speed up the healing process. I went to the doctor (first big mistake) and after an exam they recommended a wide spectrum synthetic antibiotic called Zithromax. I told them that I had been on Amoxacillin for 5 days at 250 Mgms per day. They wrote the perscription and I took 2 pills the first day and one pill per day for 4 more days. (Second big mistake) By the sixth day I couldn't walk. I had lots of pain in my legs and some in my arms.
I couldn't stand in the shower. I went to the emergency room where the doctor diagnosed Guianne Barre syndrome, and condition similar in effects to MS but where the patient's own antibodies were literally eating the myelin sheath off my nerves.
Doctors only have two ways to treat this. Plasma Ferrisis (filters antibodies from blood like a dialysis machine $100,000 and Gama Globulin (other peoples antibodies at ridiculous amounts to trick one's own immune system into shutting down. $10,000. I had no insurance. I had the later treatment, but then you are stuck with whatever condition you are in because the treatment does nothing to fix the symptoms. The doctor said it would take 6 months to 3 years for this doctor caused disease to by fixed by my body, and they could do nothing further.
I studied nutrition, and took lots of cholestrol (amino acids are a main part of myelin) and was back on my logging machine in 32 days without seeing another doctor.
Today I am fine but will not go back to any doctor unless I get in a major accident, and I definitely won't take antibiotics of any kind.
They are a short term fix at best and are always a long term curse.

Since this experience I have studied the over use of antibiotics and have come to believe that in the long run they will be a major cause of the demise of good health in our population, especially in the USA.
There are many natural antibiotics that should be used instead but we are not allowed to talk about them. Rogue government agencies are violating our 1st amendment rights in that regard.

By rogue government agencies you could't possibly mean the FDA, now could you???

The single most effective agent for distroying pathogens is ozone/oxygen.

The single most effective agent with ease of application for most anyone for re-establishing the krebs cycel and enzyme processes is ozone/oxygen.

The single most effective method of implemantaion with ease of application of ozone is with a medical grade ozone genertor.

Ozone therapy is wildly used safely in countries in Europe, Africa and South America, and in China, I have most recently heard.

Ozone can distroy any infection if properly applied, saving life and limb. It can, as reported by doctors and therapists that do this work, kill most infections, eliminate AIDS/HIV, many cancers, gangrene, flu, asthma, COPD, toxic build up in organs of pesticides, heavy metals, pcbs., can help regenerate joint tissue, etc. etc.

The FDA has refused to acknowledge and accept ozone as valid and effective therapy regardless of the thousands of documented studies in vitro and vivo, clinical cases studies, etc.

The answer for the public at this time is to learn about ozone and have your own equipement in your home. An investment of $2000 to $5000 dollars can save yourself and your family from the travesties of allopathic medicine such as you went through. Not much of an investment in the long run for a system that can be reused thousands of times by many people.

Vaccinations are associated with Guillain-Barre syndrome.

I have seen two children die from it in Childrens Hospital, Dallas. It, in these cases, resulted in respiratory failure. They were placed on ventilators until kidney failure set in.

Both had received polio vaccination about 2 weeks prior. The physicians at the hospital made this diagnosis.

Instead of antibiotics Ozone is the answer. Read Ed McCabes book "Flood Your Body withOxygen"

13 Major Effects of Ozone on the Body

1. Ozone stimulates the production of white blood cells These cells protect the body from viruses, bacteria, fungi and cancer. Deprived of oxygen, these cells malfunction. They fail to eliminate invaders and even turn against normal, healthy cells (allergic reactions). Ozone significantly raises oxygen levels in the blood for long periods after ozone administration; as a result, allergies have a tendency to become desensitized.

2. Interferon levels are significantly increased Interferons are globular proteins. Interferons orchestrate every aspect of the immune system. Some interferons are produced by cells infected by viruses. These interferons warn adjacent, healthy cells of the likelihood of infection; in turn, they are rendered nonpermissive host cells. In other words, they inhibit viral replication. Other interferons are produced in the muscles, connective tissue and by white blood cells. Levels of gamma interferon can be elevated 400-900% by ozone. This interferon is involved in the control of phagocytic cells that engulf and kill pathogens and abnormal cells. Interferons are FDA approved for the treatment of Chronic Hepatitis B and C, Genital Warts (caused by Papillomavirus), Hairy-cell Leukemia, Karposi's Sarcoma, Relapsing-Remitting Multiple Sclerosis and Chronic Granulomatous Disease. Interferons are currently in clinical trials for Throat Warts (caused by Papillomavirus), HIV infection, Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia Leukemia, Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, Colon tumors, Kidney tumors, Bladder Cancer, Malignant Melanoma, Basal Cell Carcinoma and Leishmaniasis. While levels induced by ozone remain safe, interferon levels that are FDA approved (and in clinical trials) are extremely toxic.

3. Ozone stimulates the production of Tumor Necrosis Factor TNF is produced by the body when a tumor is growing. The greater the mass of the tumor the more tumor necrosis factor is produced (up to a point). When a tumor has turned metastatic, cancer cells are breaking off and being carried away by the blood and lymph. This allows the tumor to take up residence elsewhere in the body; or in other words, divide its forces. These lone cancer cells have little chance of growing due to the TNF produced to inhibit the original tumor. When the tumor is removed surgically TNF levels drop dramatically and new tumors emerge from seemingly healthy tissue.

4. Ozone stimulates the secretion of IL-2. Interluekin-2 is one of the cornerstones of the immune system. It is secreted by T-helpers. In a process known as autostimulation, the IL-2 then binds to a receptor on the T-helper and causes it to produce more IL-2. Its main duty is to induce lymphocytes to differentiate and proliferate, yielding more T-helpers, T-suppressors, cytotoxic T's, T-delayed's and T-memory cells.

5. Ozone kills most bacteria at low concentrations. The metabolism of most bacteria is on average one-seventeenth as efficient as our own. Because of this, most cannot afford to produce disposable antioxidant enzymes such as catalase. Very few types of bacteria can live in an environment composed of more than two percent ozone.

6. Ozone is effective against all types of fungi This includes systemic Candida albicans, athletes foot, molds, mildews, yeasts and even mushrooms.

7. Ozone fights viruses in a variety of ways. As discussed above, ozone also goes after the viral particles directly. The part of the virus most sensitive to oxidation is the "reproductive structure." This is how the virions enter the cell. With this structure inactivated, the virus is essentially "dead." Cells already infected have a natural weakness to ozone. Due to the metabolic burden of infection, the cells can no longer produce enzymes necessary to deal with the ozone and repair the cell.

8. Ozone is antineoplastic. This means that ozone inhibits the growth of new tissue because rapidly dividing cells shift their priorities away from producing the enzymes needed to protect themselves from the ozone. Cancer cells are rapidly dividing cells and are inhibited by ozone.

9. Ozone oxidizes arterial plaque It breaks down the plaque involved in both Arteriosclerosis and Arthrosclerosis. This means ozone has a tendency to clear blockages of large and even smaller vessels. This allows for better tissue oxygenation in deficient organs.

10. Ozone increases the flexibility and elasticity of red blood cells When one views a red blood cell under a microscope, it looks like a disc. In the capillaries, where they pick-up (lungs) and release (tissue) oxygen, these discs stretch out into the shape of an oval or umbrella. This aids their passage through the tiny vessels and makes the exchange of gas more efficient. The increase in flexibility of the RBC's allows oxygen levels to stay elevated for days, even weeks after treatment with ozone.

11. Ozone accelerates the Citric Acid Cycle. Also known as the Kreb's Cycle or TCA Cycle, this is a very important step in the glycolisis of carbohydrate for energy. This takes place in the mitochonria of the cell. Most the energy stored in glucose (sugar) is converted in this pathway.

12. Ozone makes the antioxidant enzyme system more efficient.

13. Ozone degrades petrochemicals. These chemicals have a potential to place a great burden on the immune system. They also worsen and even cause allergies and are detrimental to your long-term health.

Hey, first time to this forum and I'm reading about OZONE!

I was gonna post my story about how antibiotics nearly killed me and then post about how ozone saved my foot from a major infection while I was living in Italy. Seems you guys already know!

I'll pass up on how the antibiotics nearly did me in - seems you all know that stuff already. But how the ozone saved me? Now I tell you, that was something!

I had been walking in the fields in Italy, on a touring vacation while in in the early 80's. I was in a stony field and I slipped and landed on an old rusted peice of farm equipement. It slashed my foot good! My friend practically carried me to a nearby farm house near by for some help. And boy did those people help. (and a real testimony of to the goodness of the folks in rual Italy) They took me into the city, Florence, and got me stitched up and took me back their house and invited me to stay till I could walk better. The doc gave me some antibiotic. Don't know what it was but it didn't work a sh^t.

After about a week it was so bad I thought I was gonna die! My foot was throbbing, red, oozing pus, and my head throbbed too.

So off these farm people took me again. This time it was to a little Doctor's office near Florence. This is where I learned about Ozone. The doctor put my foot in a bag of ozone and made several small injections of ozone into the foot around the infected wound that were pretty painful I must admit. I went to him four times but he only did those injections that one time. The last time he didn't treat me at all. Just to get a clean bill of health.

Since then I've been practicing oxygen therapies. I'm no practitioner for the public. Just me and my family and an occasional friend. We've taken care of pneumonia, a wide assortment of skin infections over the years. Kept the flu away. Mostly we use ozone steam saunas. Even got a vet to inject my dogs arthritic joints with great results. My dog thanks me everyday by wagging his tail and jumping around.

We never worry about getting chronic disease since we have the ozone saunas. We are about as healthy as you can get.

So thought I would put my two cents gained from some practical experience in here.

All that stuff Dr Shallenberger says... I think he's right.

WOW, Dylan, I've been posting on different sites about ozone for a while now and your the first one to say that they have used it!

I'm glad you had such great results! And really glad to hear that you have investigated it and kept up with it over the years!

I had been wondering about its use injected like you had. I have heard that its painful. I recently took a class in ozone therapy and the doctor who does it injects procaine 1% about 1/2 to 1 cc into the site first, leaves the needle in, removes the syringe and then attaches the syringe of ozone gas and injects. When given this way it doesn't hurt. Guess you didn't have that. He didn't talk about using it in this way for infections. He was teaching about its applicaton in prolotherapy which is a treatment for chronic joint and other structural pain. If you inject into a joint capsule you don't need the procaine as the ozone won't cause pain there.

I heard that in Europe, Germany particularly that they use intermuscular injections of ozone for the flu. Have you heard of this?

To Guest, on chicken pox

Very interesting that the child contracted chicken pox from shingles. I specifically asked the Dr (senior honorary) who prescribed the Famcyclovir that I requested as the shingles was close to the eye, about infection dangers as my grand-daughter was due to stay.
Not a worry he said, it's not contagious! I'll research on the net in future about all aspects of things before asking questions, then I can argue. No, she didn't get chicken pox, but I had been on the antiviral for three days before she arrived. Rolling Eyes

I once had a patient with shingles IN the eye, on the orbit surface. I don't ever want to see somebody suffer like THAT again.

Interesting note. With the advent of vaccination for chicken pox, cases of shingles in children as young as 10 years old have been reported. This virus has been around for so long and our knowledge is so limited with regard to, just what, we may be doing by playing games with such a highly evolved/adapted virus.

But, not to worry, Ozone, it appears, will cure anything.

What has been going on has nothing to do with intelligent disscussion. I have no problem with people dissagreeing with each other. What I do have a problem with is seeing this person attacking others every chance he gets. There is a difference between the two, and I don't live in Australia.
