Down through the centuries, the Jews have remained prisoners and pawns of their Pharisees who answer to the financiers.---[2012 May] Do Jews Suffer from a False Identity? by Henry Makow Ph.D.

Jesus criticized the Pharisees for their religious traditions. Those traditions were oral traditions at that time. Later they were memorialized in the Talmud and the Kabbalah. The Kabbalah and the Talmud today span numerous volumes. Jesus called the pharisees hypocrites, who masqueraded as religious men, but who were in reality irreligious frauds.
......The Pharisees had an outward appearance of piety, in order to gain political and religious control of the Jews. In secret, however, they practiced an occult doctrine that was only known to its initiates. Lady Queenborough (Edith Miller) explains in her book Occult Theosophy explains: "The Chaldean science acquired by many of the Jewish priests, during the captivity of Babylon, gave birth to the sect of the Pharisees whose name only appears in the Holy Scriptures and in the writings of the Jewish historians after the captivity (606 B. C). The works of the celebrated scientist Munk leave no doubt on the point that the sect appeared during the period of the captivity. From then dates the Cabala or Tradition of the Pharisees. For a long time their precepts were only transmitted orally but later they formed the Talmud and received their final form in the book called the Sepher ha Zohar.”  [2011] Solving the Mystery of Babylon the Great by Edward Hendrie

The Pharisees were, as it were, a class whose tendency was to form a kind of intellectual aristocracy among the Jews. At first, they formed a sort of brotherhood, a haburah, the members being called haburim or brothers. They were a subversive element, aiming at the overthrow of the Sadducean High-priesthood, whose members prided themselves on their aristocracy of blood and birth, to which the Pharisees opposed an aristocracy of learning. The war waged by the latter extends over a long period of time, and the rivalry was bitter. The Pharisees, who, although they professed, as one of their chief tenets, the utmost contempt of the am-haretz or simple people, did not overlook the fact that they needed their mass support for the attainment of their own aim, and they enlisted it by opposing the Sadducean strictness of the Law in many instances, namely, in the observance of the Sabbath.  The power of the Sadducees fell with the destruction of the Temple by Titus and thenceforth the Pharisaic element held supremacy among the Jews..........." One cannot better define its action in the midst of Jewish society before Jesus Christ, " said Mr. Flavien Brenier, " than in comparing it with that of the Freemasons in modern society. During the time of Christ the Scribes and Pharisees were constantly heckling and challenging Jesus, and it was they who plotted his crucifixion......Jesus called them serpents, vipers, blind guides, whited sepulchers, and hypocrites who will be damned to hell. Colonel Jack Mohr states: “One of the greatest difficulties of the Talmudic Pharisees has been that of bringing communism into power while trying to conceal its Talmudic origin.” [2011] Solving the Mystery of Babylon the Great by Edward Hendrie

The Canaanite political parties were the Pharisees, Sadducees, Zealots, Essains, Assissins, Herodians, and Scribes. A later group, the Edomites, descended from Esau and later intermarried with the Turks, producing a Turco- Edomite mixture which later became known as the Chazars, the present occupants of Israel, according to the great Jewish scholar, Arthur Koestler. The Canaanites were divided into the Amorites, Hittites, Moabites, Midianites, Philistines, Ammonites, Edomites, Zidonians, Sepharvaims, Perizzites, and affiliated tribes, all of which are routinely denounced in the Bible. Genesis 3:17: "The Perizzites are the enemies of God; the Ammonites worshipped Moloch Chemos and were demon-possessed." The Ashodites worshipped the fish and god, Dagon-they were robbers and hated God (as recorded in the British Museum --Ed.). The Egyptians were known as worshippers of black magic, which resulted in God's rebuff to Hagar. The Amorites were cursed by God (Ezra 9:1). Hittite was defined as meaning to destroy or to terrify; Perizzite came to stand for strife and disorder; the Sepharvaim (later Sephardim) were revolutionaries; Jebusite stands for trampling underfoot. Former Jew Benjamin Freedman, in his book Facts are Facts, traced the lineage of modern day Talmudic Jews back to the Pharisees of Christ’s time:

The eminent Rabi Louis Finkelstein, the head of The Jewish Theological Seminary of America, often referred to as "The Vatican of Judaism", in his Foreword to his First Edition of his world famous classic "The Pharisees, The Sociological Background of Their Faith", on page XXI states: "... Judaism . . . Pharisaism became Talmudism, Talmudism became Medieval Rabbinism, and Medieval Rabbinism became Modern Rabbinism. But throughout these changes in name ... the spirit of the ancient Pharisees survives, unaltered ... From Palestine to Babylonia; from Babylonia to North Africa, Italy, Spain, France and Germany; from these to Poland, Russia, and eastern Europe generally, ancient Pharisaism has wandered "demonstrates the enduring importance which attaches to Pharisaism as a religious movement ..."  [2011] Solving the Mystery of Babylon the Great by Edward Hendrie

During the time of Christ, the Talmud existed only in oral form, which Jesus referred to as the traditions of the scribes and Pharisees. This early oral tradition is called the Mishnah. It was only after Christ’s crucifixion that the Mishnah was reduced to writing. The rabbis later added rabbinical commentaries to the Mishnah, which are called the Gemara.341 Together these comprise the Talmud, which is now a collection of books. There are today two basic Talmudic texts, the Babylonian Talmud and the Jerusalem Talmud. The Babylonian Talmud is regarded as the authoritative version and takes precedence over the Jerusalem Talmud.342 The Babylonian Talmud is based on the mystical religious practices of the Babylonians which were assimilated by the Jewish Rabbis during their Babylonian captivity around 600 B.C. The Rabbis then used these occult traditions in place of the word of God. [2011] Solving the Mystery of Babylon the Great by Edward Hendrie

What did Jesus have to say about the religion of the Pharisees? Jesus said, they masqueraded as religious men who have the oracles of God, but they were really irreligious, teaching instead the doctrines of men.....To what traditions was Jesus referring when he upbraided the Pharisees for using them to transgress and replace the laws of God? Can we find out about those traditions today? Yes; the Talmud is a codification of the traditions of the scribes and Pharisees to which Jesus spoke.....During the time of Christ the Scribes and Pharisees were constantly heckling and challenging Jesus, and it was they who plotted his crucifixion. [2011] Solving the Mystery of Babylon the Great by Edward Hendrie

One can sense the contempt that the Pharisees had for the common Jews in John 7:49, where common Jews were impressed by what Jesus had to say, and the Pharisees responded by cursing the Jews for not knowing the “law.” The law to which the Pharisees referred was their oral tradition. William Wotton explains the undue burdens placed on the Jews through the laws of the Pharisees: “They were absurdly minute in the literal observance of the their vows, and as shamefully subtle in their artful evasion of them. The Pharisees could be easy enough to themselves when convenient, and always as head and unrelenting as possible to all others. They quibbled and dissolved their oaths with experienced casuistry.” [2011] Solving the Mystery of Babylon the Great by Edward Hendrie

According to Miller,  Pharisee Judaism is not a religion at all, but a secret society posing as a religion, a "sect with Judaism as a rite." She cites Moses Mendelssohn who wrote "Judaism is not a religion but a Law religionized."[2012 Jan] Edith Starr Miller - Murdered for Exposing Conspiracy
