What are the main benefits for pets?

Thanks to animal research, our pets lead healthier and happier lives than ever before:

• It's not long ago that distemper epidemics used to sweep the country, killing thousands of dogs and leaving many others weakened and with permanent nerve damage.  These days, because most puppies are vaccinated, distemper is almost a thing of the past.
