Julie Scrafton Its somethiing I relate to, as the week beofre I started UT my dentist said I had to have 2 side teeth removed. They were hurting me and had become out of line when I ate and were loose. Long story short, he took impressions to have plate with 2 teeth made and I was to return following week to extract and fit plate. ! he said nothing else could be done. I started Ut and during that week my gums became all inflamed and had gum boils in a couple of places especially around the 2 teeth. A clot of blood came out from around them and then over days it all settled down. I too thought that the teeth could improve and went back and said I was not ready to have them out. Over the next week or so the teeth firmed up in the gum any discomfort left and they seemed to go back in alignment. There was no problem eating on those teeth anymore. Nearly 4 months later I still have no problems. They are still slightly wobbly than the others but I still have them.
